Grilled Artichokes

Artichokes are my absolute favorite vegetable. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! to the Rutherford Grill in Rutherford, California. We tried our best to recreate the taste. It's not quite the same, but it's still dreamy.

Make sure the outdoor grill is hot
Serves 2
Serve plain or with mayonnaise for dipping

Ingredients

Ready...go

Steam the artichoke until soft but just under cooked. Cut in half and scoop out the choke.

Mix the olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour over the artichoke halves and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Grill over hot smoky coals until artichokes are slightly crispy, but not burned. Serve immediately.
